About the role
Provincial education departments appoint thousands of temporary staff for the national examination period. Examination assistants help with packing, distribution and control of examination material, capturing marks and general administration at marking centres. Quality assurers verify captured results, check scripts against control sheets and report irregularities. Appointments are contract based and tied to the exam calendar.
Requirements
Grade 12 minimum; computer literacy for data capturing posts. Educators or retired educators are preferred for quality assurance roles. Valid SA ID and clear record.
